OMG 2021

Can we all say thank GOD it’s 2021! What a hell of a 2020 we had. I hop everyone was being safe out there. We here at Skyler Moving & Labor LLC kept working to make your moves run smoothly during the pandemic. We practice social distancing with wearing masks and not being to close to our customers. Now that the vaccines are rolling out we are starting to get busier, plus the summer season is upon us.

A big hello to everyone out there looking at our page. Sorry we have not been on this site in a little bit. There has been some changes with Skyler Moving & Labor LLC for the better.

We now have our own web page check it out at http://www.skylermovingandlaborllc.com 

We also are equipped with an enclosed trailer and a dump trailer that has been added to our fleet for smaller jobs.  As you all know we don’t just do moving but also do Demolition, Hauling of almost anything, skilled trade, and labor work, rock spreading, and yes those pesky chores that you don’t like doing.

 

We have many reviews out there also just search us on yelp, DAV, or google. Plus we are affiliated with many 3rd party moving sites with U-haul, Penske, Budget, Rat pack, Pods, ETC.

Are you prepared 2019?

The heat is at our backdoor are you ready?

 

To prepare for the high temps when moving here are a few steps to help you out.

1. Call for your movers far enough in advance to book the job. It gets very busy in the summer, so reserve your spot.
2.  Get the right size truck for your move. Not having enough space at the end sucks because nobody wants to leave there items behind.
3. Have all your moving pads and rope to help protect your items.
4. Water is key to keeping your movers alive and moving. If they don’t have any or seem to be sweating a lot offer them so cool drinks. When it is 100 degrees or hotter we make it mandatory for our movers to take a 5.  Yes they will get some sweat on your furniture, it’s impossible not to.
5.  Allow movers to take a minimum of a 5 minute break each hour to cool down. It gets very hot in the back of the moving trucks when it’s hot out. 140-185 degrees in the back of a moving truck.
6. Have your payment ready most companies will only accept cash or credit.
7. Tips are always appreciated, if you movers did a good job we are a service industry to.

Summer Heat

Hello and welcome to the intense heat AZ has to offer. If you are coming from another state do not underestimate the sun here. Especially during the summer MAY-SEPT it gets nasty hot here.

The average person that is not use to the heat will easily overheat or worse become dehydrated. Both are not good.

We here at Skyler Moving & Labor LLC are trained to deal with the high heat and muggy conditions we have here. We drink plenty of fluids and when it is over 110 degrees it’s mandatory for our movers to take a 10 min. break each hour to ensure there safety and maintain hydration. We have temps up around 110-120 here.

The elderly and young folks need to stay indoors and be where it is cool. We love our customers and only want you to be safe.

“Remember if you have pets if you can’t place the back of your hand on the sidewalk or black top then it is to hot for your pets to walk out there.”

Need a mover then you are looking in the right place. We can help you out with just Labor type moves. Like loading, unloading, pack, or unpacking and even drive that rental truck for you.

We also offer full service moves: We come to your home and do a walkthrough with you to see what needs to be moved. Then we write up a written/emailed estimate for you. We will load/drive/unload/and the get our selves back to AZ all for one low price.

Moving services vary between hourly and full service.

A little of everything!

Hello everybody here is what we have been up to lately. We here at SML have been moving people all over our Country. We have also been very busy helping customers with there remodeling needs. Demolition is a task that many folks don’t want to try and do them selves.

Well we got you covered, we not only have the tools to do it but have the man power as well. We are fast and very hard workers. We will work hard to get your remodeling project done fast and safe. Some of our projects lately have been fun.

Now we consider our work to be fun it makes life better if you enjoy your job like we all do. Some of the projects we have done consist of: Kitchen remodeling, tearing everything out of the kitchen including cabinets, tile, drywall, and yes the soffit’s. The customer wanted there kitchen to be a big open space, so we took care of it for them.

Another project was removing lots of tile so customer could put new flooring in. Concrete demo we do it.

Some of the other demo jobs we can tackle for you are:
